| 1 – PAN–Aadhaar linking is an easy online process; first check your status. 2 – Visit the official website of Income Tax Department and click on “Link Aadhaar”. 3 – Enter your PAN Number and Aadhaar Number correctly. 4 – Enter your mobile number and verify using OTP. 5 – Select relevant Assessment Year (latest available) and choose “Other Receipts (500)”, then pay ₹1000 fee. 6 – Download and save the payment receipt. 7 – After 4–5 days, login again and complete the linking process (no payment required again). 8 – Wait for verification from Unique Identification Authority of India; if details match, linking will be successful. 9 – You can check your PAN–Aadhaar link status anytime online. |
